Our Global Image Search API is Now Free

With great excitement, we are happy to announce that our Global Image Search API is now available for free. What is the Global Image Search API, you might ask? Well, take a pew, we'll explain.

The Global Image Search API is a Developer API that enables you find any fashion product that exists on the internet by searching with images. It powers Lykdat.com — our end user Fashion Search Engine which serves thousands of shoppers daily.

In the third quarter of 2021,  we made the Global Image Search API publicly available to Developers under our Standard Plan. However, over time, we've noticed that Programmers and Computer Science Students often tend to experiment with the API for their hobby and school projects.  This observation has motivated us to make the Global Image Search API free for up to 500 search requests. It is all on the Free plan, so you won't need to provide your card details or anything like that.

This is exhilarating for us, and we can't wait to see what exciting projects you'll be building with it.
